Round, Round, Get Around, I Get Around!

Hey, I was not ready for that picture!
Oh, were you looking for this key, Mommy?
Sorry, I just can't help myself!

I know it looks like I am going to get into the diapers but I am not.
I promise. Could you please give me some privacy?

Are you sure that I have Daddy's ears?

I definitely have a better smile than him!

It's about time for some fun!

Little dizzy!

How is this pose, Mommy?

Alright, I know this pose looks really professional. No need to tell me how good I look in my ballerina pajamas!

Amelia has finally started crawling. It seems that in the last week she had gone from playing with toys on a blanket to playing with EVERYTHING in the living room! She has found the DVDs, exercise bands, febreeze, magazines, fireplace, coffee table legs, baby monitor cord and her books! Even though she is constantly trying to get from one object to the other I am glad that she is awfully tired at night! Hope you enjoy the video!

This and That!

Just thought I would post a few videos and pictures from this week. Amelia has started to get up on her feet and hands. Sometimes she accomplishes the polar bear look but other times she ends up just sticking one of her legs way out! She also started making this noise when she breathes in. The first few time she did it we thought she was choking but now if we do it she usually imitates us!

Usually after she rocks back and forth she lays her head down and waves! I wish I knew what she was thinking!

She really does look like her Daddy.
Perfect crawling position.

These are the bunny ears that Grandma Rundle got her for Easter! She was very cranky during this picture shoot but she left them on. She usually takes them off to chew on them!

Is this a scary face or what?!?!?

This video was shot by Ben and he did not do such a good job! I thought it was funny considering how many times he has made me tape something over because I did not do so well. She is trying to get into her toy tub, she does not succeed.

You will have to ignore the sound I am making here, I am trying to get her to make her new sound! She does and you can also see how she sticks her leg out to the side!

Finally!!

I am not talking about crawling! Amelia has finally learned how to hold her bottle! I am sure that she has known how to do it for awhile but had the thought process of, why should I hold it if you are here to hold it?
So the other day I laid her down on her pillow and handed her the bottle and she was very excited!
Hope you enjoy!

Finally!!

I gave her a Mohawk! I think she was very excited even though she had no idea why I was taking her picture.

She seriously loves the camera!

This is what happens when my daughter learns to scoot around the floor. She loves to get the diaper tote and pull everything out! I don't really mind except that once diapers are unfolded they do not fold back so nicely!

As long as it keeps her busy!

Hello!

She was rocking back and forth a lot but as soon as I got the camera out she started whining! I will get a better one next time!

Almost There!

The past few days Amelia has been feeling a lot better! She is also getting closer and closer to crawling. She has begun to get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth a little.
I included a couple videos of her walking with her walker and rocking back and forth.
I will apologize now for me hyena laugh and loud voice in the videos!

Ben made me retake this video. The first one I took was so awful because I was too close! He sure is picky. He promises he was only holding onto her and steering her forward!

Easter!

Leah is all clean from her weekend at the kennel!
Thank you for the elephant, Grandma Budke!
Sophia is showing off her hat and obviously ready to go home.
Henry was super cute in his bibs!
Diana got to hold Henry for a bit before he made the trip home!

Anna hanging out as usual. She had been very busy helping her Dad fix the fence! She also helped me make bottles this weekend!
Emma got Amelia to sleep after this and we wouldn't let her move for awhile!
Emma was a huge help this weekend! She fed Amelia, changed her, played with her and walked her around! I wish I had gotten a picture of her carrying Amelia around on her hip. She stuck her hip out and hoisted her onto it! She carried her around until someone asked to take her! Thank you Emma!
Ella had the very important job of pushing Amelia around in the stroller. This kept them both busy for awhile.

These two pictures clearly show that she is too big for the bouncy seat! When she can sit up in it there is a huge hazard of tipping forward!
She thought it was pretty cool though.

Teething is not Fun.

We all knew that Amelia was showing the signs of teething. This past Sunday Ben and I felt the tiniest bump on her lower gum. We were so excited that there was a sign of a tooth coming through! Come Monday morning we were not so excited anymore. It seems that with us finding the tooth, Amelia stopped holding back all of the horrible symptoms that can come with teething. That morning she woke up and felt incredibly hot. I was shocked. I peeled her pajamas off and she was hot all the way down to her toes! The past three days have been horrible. She has had a slight fever, been cranky, wants to be held all the time, cried when you leave the room, gags on saliva, coughs from the extra saliva, gets up 3-4 times a night from coughing and has vomited 6 times so far due to gagging! I am ready to ship her to any willing relative! It did not help that I had 2 tests today and had a child who did not want to do anything but be held! The past 3 nights I have not gotten to bed until 12:00 A.M. and Ben has been working 4-12. So, now that I am done complaining I will let you enjoy the pictures of my miserable little girl!

She is not sleeping with her eyes open! She is just that pitiful right now. It doesn't help that Daddy did not wipe the sweet potatoes off of her forehead.

Only moving her head to make sure nothing good is on T.V.!

Last night I pulled the bouncy seat out of the closet to see if it would help with her coughing. She seems to be glad to have it back!

Hello slobber! Not 20 minutes after changing her shirts did she have this one totally soaked! Oh well, at least I got 45 minutes of her playing on the floor before wanting to be held again!

I did not know it was possible to drool that much in 1 sitting!

Oh, Mommy, I am not that bad!

Thank You!

Wanna hug? I'll give you a hug!
I am staring at the T.V., I can't hear or see anything else.

Do you like my faux hawk?

Mmmmmm, tasty!
WooHoo for being Auntie Karen's shopping buddy!
Thank you for the toy Grandma Budke, I especially like the tag!
My favorite toy in the package from Grandma and Grandpa Rundle is the pink duckie! It lights up with all different colors! Thank you for the Easter gift! Can't wait to see you next month!
These three videos are from this past week. The first one shows how Amelia has started scooting around the living room. She tries to get toys in front of her but ends up scooting backwards. She is getting really good at getting her tummy off the ground! It is scary to think that pretty soon she will be crawling!
The second one is of her doing her new wave! She does it all the time and we are worried that it may be a stress reliever for her! She was watching Veggie Tales and moving her hand the WHOLE time! It was too funny!
The last one is self explanatory! She loves Daddy and all the fun stuff they do together!
Thanks for checking in!
