4 Months Old!

Yesterday, Amelia, had her 4 month check up! I was really nervous because she has gotten a cold and was worried that it might look bad that I had not brought her in sooner. The appointment went great and we found out she weighs 15 lbs. 6 oz.! Yes, she is quite the chunk and is in the 8oth percentile for her age! She has come very far from her first weight of 5 lbs. 12 oz.! It is hard to believe that she was 6 weeks early! Ben and I love our chunky monkey and are glad she is doing so great! She has started cereal and loves it! Today, she got so mad that I had put her on her tummy that she ended up working herself halfway around the blanket! Hopefully that will turn into rolling over! She also loves her movies! She loves Baby Einstien and now enjoys Veggie Tales also! What can I say? She must take after me!

Hello everyone! Not much to report. We did not make it to the doctor's appointment Thursday because the roads were covered in ice! We rescheduled for Monday. I was bummed that we did not get to find out how much she weighs now. Oh well! Below are a few pictures that I took with my new digital camera! I am so psyched. I think the pictures look a lot better! I also included a video at the bottom! It is not very long because my memory card fills up quite quickly. Ben says it is probably the settings I have the camera on. I am scared to adjust anything for fear of not getting it back to taking good pictures! Hope you enjoy and I will post Monday with doctor updates!

Don't you think you went a little overboard with the bib? I look like a line backer!

I am not going to smile anymore!

Can't see the T.V. Mom!

Hello! I cannot see the T.V. with you standing in front of me!

The following are some pictures taken in the last few weeks. I am still finding it hard to remember to grab the camera whenever she does something cute. At the moment we are still working on rolling from tummy to back. She is very close her one arm seems to stop her every time!! I also am proud to say that twice she has sat up by herself for 5 seconds!! I will admit that she was leaning so far forward that her legs were stopping her belly from touching the floor. It is a funny site to see!
Enjoy!

Every morning after her first bottle, Amelia watches Baby Beethoven. This is what she looks like halfway through it the second time! She gets so excited that she wears herself out.

These two pictures are her watching Ben and I decorate the Christmas tree. She was kicking her legs the whole time! She absolutely loves the lights!

Ben sat Amelia in the corner of the chair to refill his coffee and when he made it back she had fallen asleep! Too cute!

This is one of the outfits I got her when I was pregnant. They are 3-6 months and they fit her perfectly! I am curious to see what she weighs at her 4 month appointment! I love it though. She was styling for our Wal-Mart trip!!

She knows she looks good!

This picture was taken right before I posted! The movie Elf was on and she was going to town in her bouncy chair while I did dishes! I went in to check on her and she was completely covered in slobber! She was either trying to look like Santa or she has a drooling problem!

I Don't Know About This Winter Thing?!!?

Below are a few pictures of Amelia since winter has hit!! I think she is quite fond of the comfy clothes but not the snow!!
Enjoy!

I love being warm! This is so comfy!

This is nice, a little dramatic for indoors, Mom, but I like it!

Are you kidding me?? Something is hitting my face, I can't find my fingers and it is cold!
This is not fun!

Hey, Daddy, are you sure I look cute? I am feeling kinda dorky.

Thank goodness I am back inside. That was crazy Mom, don't do that again. See, you made me cry.

New Jeans!

Amelia got a new pair of jeans from Grandma and Grandpa Rankin for Thanks-Christmas this year so we tried them on this morning and they fit great!! I almost cried because she looked more like a little girl than a baby! We would like to say thankyou for all the great gifts she got and cannot wait to use them all! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
