Weekend Visitors!

This weekend Grandpa and Grandma Rankin make the drive to visit Amelia for the afternoon. We also had another visitor, the rain! It rained so much here that there were tiny lakes everywhere. All of you who know my husband would not put it past him to do something funny if there was a little lake in our front yard. One of the pictures below explains it all!!! The bottom two pictures are of Amelia's mad face! I promise to post more pictures on Thursday!
Thanks for checking in!

yup...I don't know if I will be claiming that I know Ben anymore! What a dork!

Amelia looks like she's grown up so much! Is she still pretty quiet or since she has a mad face now, does she scream more?

Love you!

Hey Stacy!!!! I think Ben needs us to go canoing with him again!! Look at the poor guy, out there by himself in his flooded front yard! The guy loves canoing and is always talking about getting a kayak, but then he'd only have himself to talk to!
Kendall, I can tell you that Amelia does not scream. In fact, she seldom cries. The girl gets her sleeping habits from you, I think!!

Wow, that's a lot of rain but what a great opportunity for Ben to actually use his canoe!

Amelia does look upset! Probably because she found out what her dad did! HA!

We've always known Ben is a dork, but we love him anyway! Amelia's face looks so filled out and chubby! I still think she looks like kori but may have ben's nose from the side profile.

Your post cracked me...the fact that Amelia has a "mad face." It reminded me of the cartoon "The Toy Story" when Mrs. Potato head tells Mr. Potato Head that she's packing his angry eyes, "Just in case." Too funny! What was she so mad about?
