Sitting up!

The past few days Ben and I have been working with Amelia trying to get her to sit up on her own. The process is touch and go! She seems to do fine until she reaches for a toy then she topples over. Her balance is not that great but she is getting there! I was also able to post a video of her talking!
Hope you enjoy!

She loves the singing pig Uncle Darrell and Aunt Karen got her!

She is also starting to notice the camera.

Turning around to see what Dad was doing on the couch! She is a busy body!

She loves to stuff everything in her mouth! By early afternoon her toys and shirt are soaked with slobber! She is my chunky scuzz(sp) monkey!

See what I mean?!?!

Her eyes seem to zoom in on the camera! She will stop mid giggle when she sees it!

Ready for a picture!

Here is the video I took this morning! I meant to get her chewing on the flower but she stopped and started talking to me!

Here are a few pictures from here and there. I tried to post the video of Colby but it will not work. I will have to change the settings on my camera so the videos are not so large!
I have to apologize to Emma because I did not get a picture of her holding Amelia! I am sorry! I promise to get one next time!
Hope you enjoy!

Gee, I wonder what she is watching?!?!

A hug for Miss Colby!

Ella and Amelia, pretty soon she will be to big for Ella to hold her.

Anna and Emma were a big help while I was down. They both learned how to change a diaper! You guys better be ready for my next visit!

We now enjoy tummy time a little more.

Funny face!

Mom, are you sure we have to leave this early to see Colby? I think she would understand if I slept in.

Daddy, you are so funny I can't keep my food in my mouth!

LOVE YOU!

Roll Over, Roll Over!!

I am proud to announce that Amelia has finally rolled over! It happened two nights ago and I was so excited! She did not mean to roll onto her back but I am okay with accidental roll overs!
I have been trying to get it on video but all I have gotten are 10 videos with her staring at me! I was going to post one but it seems I need to work on my loud breathing! I am too embarrassed to post one so I will keep trying for the actual roll over! Below are a few pictures from here and there! I would also like to add that tomorrow Amelia will be staying with our neighbor, Kim, while I attend classes. I am sure she will enjoy some new scenery and I will enjoy a little alone time! Thanks for visiting!

Love the sweater, Grandma Cooper!

I have to apologize to Grandma Rundle for not having this shirt out while she was visiting! It was in the 6 month pile that I washed a few days after she left! So, these pictures are for you Diana!

Shedd Aquarium

After dropping Grandma and Grandpa Rundle off at the airport we headed to Shedd Aquarium. I have been begging Ben to take me for a couple years and then out of the blue he asks if I want to head over there! I was not dressed that nicely because I did not think I would be getting out of the car but I jumped on the opportunity. Unfortunately, the Oceanic exhibit was closed because they are in the process of redoing it. It was still fun however and Amelia enjoyed the turtles! That is about it though!
Love - Ben, Kori & Amelia

We bought her a little stuffed sea turtle and she loves it because she can grab things and put them into her mouth now!

See what I mean?

The majority of the time she slept! Oh well, Ben and I were glad she was sleeping instead of screaming like other kids!

My pictures are dark because they do not allow flash photography!

My best picture of a shark! It turned out well only because I forgot to turn my flash off! Whoops!

Walking through the Coral Reef Aquarium was like watching Nemo! Ben and I kept referring to the movie!

A blurry sting ray!

By the way we have outgrown almost all 3 month clothes and are in 6 month clothes now!
Ben is getting worried but I think she is super cute no matter how chubby she gets!!

You so funny, Daddy!

The other night while Ben was holding Amelia he decided to try blowing into her face! Below is a video trying to capture her facial expression when he did it! Sorry for the loud breathing and laughing!! Do not make fun of me!

I Have Another Grandma and Grandpa?!?!?!?!?!

This past Friday Amelia and I made our way to the bus stop to pick up Ben's parents, Diana and James, who were coming in from California! Amelia fell asleep on the way there but when she woke up and found someone was sitting with her in the backseat she became very excited! Then when she found out that these two people were her grandparents she became even more excited! And finally when she found out that they would love her and entertain her all day long she became so excited she could not stop smiling!
The week has been great! Amelia loves being held and loved by her Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma Rundle certainly does not mind feeding, holding or changing Amelia! This week it has almost felt like I do not have a baby because she is always willing to take care of Miss Amelia! We are so glad and excited that they got to make it down for a visit!
Thanks for checking in!

You so funny!

Alright, let's make this quick. I got some stuff to do.

Focus. Focus.

Leah was very excited that someone was willing to play with her. Grandpa takes her out about 15 times a day and I believe she would go home with him if she could!

I love you Grandma!

You are killing me Grandpa! No matter what you say I can't stop laughing!

Are you sure you do not want to hold me?

Can we cuddle? I love to cuddle!

Holding Amelia for the first time!
Aren't they cute?!?!
