Now that Amelia has mastered crawling she is working on the whole pulling herself up to things! This is great except that since we have gotten home I have found 3 bruises! Two on her forehead from trying to stand up to the door and one on her stomach. This morning we went to Target to get her a new toy! We wanted something she could stand up to in hopes that she would stop trying to stand up to our coffee table which is a little too tall for her! We succeeded! So far she loves her new toy! This thing has so many different tunes and buttons to push it is hard to not play with it! We also made a visit to the doctor for her 9 month appointment! Yikes, she is already 9 months! She weighed in at 21 lbs. and is 28 inches long! We would also like to tell Aunt Kelly that her head size is only in the 25Th percentile! She has a small head! We were also given the okay to feed her scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes! I can't believe we are to that point! All I have to say is that this appointment has made Ben and me really sad at how fast she is growing up. So there you go! All the news I have!
Hope you enjoy.

Getting ready to play with the new toy! It has a mini computer, phone, book and piano on the top! Our child has to be the only 9 month old who still needs a bib! No wonder, when you leave her to drink her own bottle this is what happens!
I wondered where the little dirty spots were coming from on my carpet. I have now figured it out, dirt from dog sticking to milk on floor equals dirty spots. Hardwood floors are sounding better every minute! Notice the milk streaming down the side of the face to the ear!

So worried about what I am doing.

They grow up to fast, don't they! If you really want to see her go get her a walker. Then you'll remember all the work you used to get done while she was happy with the saucer. Cause with a walker you'll be chasing her all over the place. Soon ben will start to see all of her baby fat turn into longer and faster little legs and he won't have to worry about feeding her to much, just whether or not he can keep up with her. Pretty soon you won't be able to get a whole lot done till nap time.
Thanks for the pics. Love to all.

I'm wondering -- if you could find a hat that maybe has some elastic around the edge, would she wear it better than her others? After looking at the picture of her with her pants on her head, I thought maybe it's the snug fit around her head that she likes!!! Of course, that wouldn't explain why she likes her teething cloth laying on her head!!!
She is such a funny girl!!!! I miss that age so much and I remember when Jacob got to those stages I was really sad too! It's so amazing how fast the time flies! Pretty soon she'll be in timeouts and talking back! HA!
Now, off to comment on your other post!!
Love ya,
Kim
