Amelia's Big Fishing Trip!

We went fishing today in the Kankakee fish and wildlife area. We found a nice little spot that is a overflow for the yellor river. Amelia caught a big bluegill, a bullhead catfish and a few small bluegills, she had a blast. She would scream "got bite dada" she was even reeling the fish in on her shrek fishing pole by herself.

Pre-trip motovational talk by momie...I think she was just excited to be rid of us for a while.

The big one that did not get away!

Amelia's first catfish, I could not get her to hold this one for the picture.

We caught a few more like this and it started to get to hot and muggy so we called it a day. Maybe we can go out again this evening or tommorow. We'll keep you posted.
